    Background:  Was given to the aliance when he was very young (under a year old). His first master, Andreo was reather decent to him, (Typical master. Do good, get good treatment, ect) and he was fairly well taken care of because of his talent. Upon Andreo's death, Rin was given to Cedrik, who asked Rin to draw him. Being Cedrik was not the nicest person in the world by far, the picture was not very flattering. Enraged, Cedrik broke all the bones in Rin's right hand (his domanat one) and locked him in a cage in the basement in complete darkness. Not satified with just this, Cedrik used Rin to vent his frustrations with life. Cedrik's power was to controll light, and he quite often would come down to Rin;s prision and flash intence light into RIn;s already sentative eyes. One one ocasion Cedrik punched Rin's glasses, shattering a lense and getting fragments in the boy's eye.
