Citrusy Goodness

This was one of the nicest coffee shop's Liah had ever remembered being in. It was modestly decorated in an old world kind of way and the tables didn't crowd each other. The atmosphere was pleasant and tranquil with the sound of Mozart playing in the background. Best of all, the coffee was actually decent. No, more than decent, damned good.  The place also sold an assortment of sandwiches and whatnot.

She was somewhere in upstate New York. She liked it there and considered buying some property and having a house built to her specifications. It was a thought. She did tend to do a lot of business this way.

She was sitting in the back of the place with a wall to the back of her. She was situated in such a way that she could see who entered and/or exited from the back and the front. The back entrance led to the restrooms, a small kitchen, and a back office she supposed. There was also one exit, which was locked from the inside. No one could enter that way unless someone opened it from the inside and let them in.
She kept an eye on both doors.

She was waiting for her contact who was also her partner. This individual was the middleman of their operation. They had a level of trust between them. They don't betray each other and they both get paid. It worked real well. They where both good at their jobs. They could afford to be picky, and decide who to work for. They both refused jobs that involved killing babies/children. Anything else was optional.

The place wasn't terribly crowded but was doing decent for a Thursday evening. A quarter of the tables where being used. A few students and some locals. She sighed. If her contact didn't come today in another half an hour, she would come back tomorrow at the same time to wait until she got some form of contact.

She waited.

Aubrianna walked into the coffeehouse, pausing in the doorway so that she could see who was there as much as to let everyone inside get a good look at her. She knew she looked good, her low boots having enough heel to define her calves, and her skirt short enough to show off those calves. And her shirt had a low enough neckline so that her pendant didn't get caught in it.

After a moment, her eyes lit on a dark haired woman in the back. A woman she only got a few impressions off of. With a small smile, and relief in the back of her mind, she made her way to that table.

She pulled out the chair opposite the woman and sat gracefully, legs spread a bit.

"Hi," she said in her slightly husky alto. "Do you want to buy me a drink?"

Liah was on her third cup of Java and just finished her BLT. Still no sign of Smitty. She signaled the person behind the booth for another refill.

She nodded her thanks and wrapped her fingers around the mug warming her fingers. She loved the smell and feel of coffee. She absently watched customers come and go and didn't take any special interest when a woman entered and paused, or rather posed, in the entranceway. She was prettier, but it wasn't who she was expecting or an immediate threat, so she lost interest. She decided to make this the last cup, and wait for Smitty tomorrow.

Her attention, however, did sharpen back onto the woman when she noticed she was heading Liah's way. She was mildly surprised when the woman gracefully sat herself down into a chair across from her, sprawling herself a bit. Now Liah remembered why she had a tendency not to wear dresses. This evidently wasn't a problem for this individual. Someone who was highly comfortable with there sexuality she thought absently.

The woman spoke.
"Hi," she said in a slightly husky alto. "Do you want to buy me a drink?"

Liah raised an eyebrow. This was definitely a first. She cocked her head in puzzlement. Her eyes turning a dark green with golden flecks making her look more exotic than first appearance.

Her voice was soft with faint traces of a southern accent.
"Yes." She signaled the waitress behind the bar. "What would you like?" she asked her, mildly amused and partially curious. Out of all the patrons in this place, why did she choose her? Her dark hair was done in a simple French braid. She was wearing faded blue jeans and a light green, cotton tee shirt with a v-neckline. She was wearing brown, clunky hiking boots that were lighter than they looked. There were others in the place more... noticeable than she was. So, yet again, she wondered why she was chosen.

There was something about the woman across from her that was... familiar. Liah new she never met her before, though. This lady was memorable. A past life, perhaps. She mentally shrugged, and waited for the strange woman's next move.

Another thought skittered across her mind. Was this a trap? She was prepared for that, if it indeed was. She was always armed. She had two guns and two blades on her person.
Throughout this thought process, her pleasantly curious expression and breathing pattern never changed or altered. She was perfectly calm and relaxed.

Aubrianna ordered tea when the waitress came over, enduring the slightly derisive look the coffeehouse worker gave her with a smile and a kiss in the girl's direction. That sent her skittering away to get the order.

She turned back to her table mate, leaning forward so her pendant swung free. "You were waiting for someone," she answered the silent question. "I decided to be the someone you were waiting for."

She smiled invitingly. "I know I never like waiting in vain."

The waitress brought over Aubri's cup. Aubri thanked her and sat back, sipping the tea and watching the woman across the table. A dangerous woman, Aubri could tell, but also one who wouldn't harm without a reason. She smiled again, resolving not to give a reason.

There was a vauge comotion from the entrance of the cafe and a trio entered the building. They sat down at a small table, the girl and the foppish of the men chatting in an animated fashion as the other man smiled and nodded.

The girl had wavey blond hair that almost shone and bounced as she nodded her head. Her eyes looked almost golden and were bright and she was dressed in a gold tone metalic-looking shirt and dark gold coloured jeans.

The foppish of the pair of men had shoulder length brown hair that was tucked behind his ears to better display the outragous asortment of silver ornamentation. One earing spirled through 8 holes in the man;s ear, the bottom curving around his lobe as if cradleing it. From the top of it, a small silver charm dangled from a thin chain. The other ear looked like the top had been dipped in silver and molded to come to a point and had a thick cuff of decorated silver hugging the middle. He was dressed in a metalic silver button down shirt and black jeans.

The other man was well built and well tanned, looking like he had been raised on a farm. He had short brown hair that looked like it had been bleached by the sun. He wore plain green shirt and blue jeans.

The waitress walked over to take their order and came back with a smile and a slight blush. The floppish man waved at her as the girl in gold blew a kiss. They returned to their conversation, only looking up when the waitress returned, handing the foppish man a frothy flavored coffey, the girl a chai tea, and the other man a mug of regular.

Liah noticed the exchange between the waitress and the woman. Her lip twitched in amusement as she watched the waitress skitter away. She mentally reminded herself to leave the poor woman an extra large tip.

The woman turned back towards her and said in her husky voice, "You were waiting for someone," she answered the silent question. "I decided to be the someone you were waiting for."
She smiled invitingly. "I know I never like waiting in vain."

Liah blinked, feeling mild surprise. Enough to let it show in a quick flash.

The waitress came back and set the tea on the table acknowlaging the thanks with a quick nod, and fleeing again. Going immediately to the strange trio who just entered. She absently decided to keep an eye on them until she left. They felt... strange.

She rested her elbow on the table and placed her chin in her palm, giving the woman a puzzled look. "Are you flirting with me?" she asked softly, curious, her southern accent more pronounced. That rarely happened. Correction, that never happened. Someone flirting with her, that is. She just wasn't that attractive.
Her Eyes changed color again, turning a brown color with blue and golden flecks.

Eliza entered the coffee shop dressed in her waitress uniform, ready to work. As she got behind the counter, one of her co-workers approached her.

"Eliza! Goodness, I'm glad you're here!" she said, relieved.

"What's up Julie?" Eliza asked, tieing her long straight brown hair in a loose pony tail.

"The school just called, Danny's sick, I have to go pick him up.. could you take over for me? Please?" Julie asked, almost begging as she took off her apron.

"Yeah, sure.. No problem," Eliza answered. "What shift are you doing?"

"Here.." She handed Eliza a list of current bills, and what tables they belonged to. "The new group that just got in at table 15 just ordered drinks.. but you should see if they need anything else in a few mins... And the same with table 22.. Thank you so much Eliza! I owe you one!" Julie said, as she got her keys out of her purse.

"You owe me two, remember? This is the second time I've covered for you Julie!" Eliza pointed out, laughing. "Don't worry about it.. hey! I'll call you later, ok?"

"Thanks! Ok!" Julie left.

Eliza looked over everyone's order. Placing them in the front pocket in her apron, she started making her rounds to various tables taking everyone's orders.

After about 10mins, she approached table 22, where two girls were sitting. One girl with short auburn colored hair and the other with her long hair tied back in a french braid.

"Good afternoon ladies, I'm Eliza and I'll be taking over as your waitress. Your previous waitress had to leave on a family emergency. Let's see now.." she pulled out their order and looked it over. "You've already ordered 4 cups of Java, a BLT and 1 tea.. is there anything else I can get you?" Eliza asked them, politely.

"Should I not?" Aubri asked, tracing the top of her cup. "You aren't unattractive. I find you quite exotic."

Before the other woman could answer, a waitress came over to the table.

Aubri smiled at the girl. "Thank you, Eliza, but I think everything I want is at the table already."

Liah's eyes widened slightly, surprised. She fought the urge to blush, and was glad the waitress came over so she could compose herself.

She turned towards the waitress, Eliza and said, "this is my fifth cup and I'ld like another please." She handed the waitress her old cup.

Turing back to... what was her name anyway? "I'm Liah. What would your name be?" She drawled amiably. "I find nothing wrong with it. I'm just not accustomed to it. Your the first to call me exotic." She looked thoughtfull. Her eyes shifting to a warm brown with golden flecks.

Aubri smiled, looking into her cup. "I can't see why, when you look as you do. Am I really... your first?"

Perhaps better than she had hoped for. Someone unused to what she offered would probably be less sure and more easily led.

"My name is Aubrianna."

Liah's eyes narrowed thoughtfully at the Abrianna's reaction. "Are you asking if I'm a virgin?" Her lip twitched, amused. "No, I'm not. It's flirting I'm not experienced at." Her eye colour was back to the brown with blue flecks in it.

Aubri put her cup down. She laced her fingers together and rested her chin on them. "You have fascinating eyes, Liah," she said, rolling the woman's name.

She blinked. "Oh. Thanks." Her lip twitched again. "They tend to change with my moods."

"And what do brown and blue say? Do you like my company?"

Liah grinned. "If I tell you I'll have to kill you." She chuckled.
"Your company is so far delightful." she added. Her eyes returned to the honey brown they were before.

Aubri moved her chin to rest in one hand, tracing the top of her cup again. "So you'd like to continue the acquaintance? Perhaps somewhere... less public so we could really get to know one another?" She emphasized the word 'know.'

Liah's eyes widened momentarily, caught off gaurd. Then she focused all of her attention on Aubrianna. Her eye color swiftly changed to blue with green flecks.

"Are you sure you want me to go with you where there's no one around? After all, you don't know me. I could be dangerouse."

"Only if I'm a threat," Aubri responded, looking up under her lashes. "And that is something I'm in no hurry to be." She paused, sitting back in her seat again. "I merely want to... entertain you." She cocked her head to one side with a smile. "Do you want to be... entertained?"

Liah cocked her head thoughtfully. "That depends. What does this do for you?" She asked. She paused. "Let me elaborate. Do you feed off of sex?" she asked politely.

Aubri thought for a moment. "No," she said. "I do not drain people's energy for the purposes of living through sex."

She nodded thoughtfully. "I have a friend who that happened to." She shrugged. "So... What do you get from it then?" She asked, converstionally.

"I get the most natural high of them all. Do I need another reason?"

"I suppose not." Liah drawled. She looked at her watch. "Very well. I'm not doing anything. We go to your place though." She signaled the waitress. "If I feel threated at any time, I will call a halt, and it will halt." She paused. "Agreed?" Her eyes were a Blue/green with brown/golden flecks.

Aubri thought. Lacking a 'place' made it a problem. And this woman... if she felt threatened it would end. And she needed completion. She had been on the bus for days this time reaching the place she'd seen, and she needed....

"Can you think of some neutral place to try? Perhaps I'm not so keen on a stranger in my home."

Liah nodded absently. "I'll spring for a hotel room, if you wish." Something was going on that she was missing. A question she should've asked but didn't. She mentally shrugged.

Aubri smiled, relieved. "That would be wonderful. Whenever you're ready..."

"I need to pay my check as soon as the waitress arives." She sounded amused. Aubrianna was relieved. Why? She wasn't that good-looking. She would go with it to see what happened.

The girl with auburn hair smiled at her.
"Thank you, Eliza, but I think everything I want is at the table already."

Eliza turned toward the other girl questionably, to which she replied, "This is my fifth cup and I'd like another please." She handed her old cup to her.

"Oh, right! Sorry.." she made the correct on their bill and got her another cup of Java. She returned with her full cup. "Here you go.. Let me know if you need anything else." she smiled at them before she left and walked over to table 15.

"Good afternoon, I'm Eliza and I'll be taking over as your waitress. Your previous waitress had to leave on a family emergency. Let's see now.." she pulled out their order and looked it over. "You've already ordered 1 frothy flavored coffee, 1 chia tea, and 1 regular.. is there anything else I can get you?" Eliza asked them, politely.

The foppish boy smiled at her. "You graceing us with your presence is more then our humble hears can desire of this moment." He gave a small bow from his chair.

The girl applauded. "Bravo, Astor!" she smiled. "But please, she can hardly do her job if you distract her so." She smiled.

The foppish boy smiled at her. "You graceing us with your presence is more then our humble hears can desire of this moment." He gave a small bow from his chair.

Eliza blushed and looked away some.

The girl at the table applauded. "Bravo, Astor!" she smiled. "But please, she can hardly do her job if you distract her so." She smiled.

"She's right, you know.." Eliza said, looking back at the group, particularly at the one the girl called Astor. "I do have a job to do now.. but.." she smiled at him. Normally she doesn't give in to fattery, but she just couldn't miss this opportunity. "if you're lucky," she continued, "maybe you'll get a phone number by the end of the day.." Eliza winked at him, smiled, and walked off to her other tables.

Liah pulled out a stuffed bill fold from an inner pocket of her black, leather jacket that was resting on the back of her chair. She placed two twenties on the table, then stood up putting her jacket on and replacing her billfold where it was previously.
"There's a place across the street. Sound good to you?" She asked. She absently noticed the table with the trio who entered earlier, as one of them seemed to be flirting with the waitress. She still got a strange feeling off of them, and it didn't feel like danger. It was probably just her imagination. She looked at the table thoughtfully, her eyes turned a golden brown with blue flecks.

Aubri stood. "Sounds lovely," she said. Her gaze flicked over in the direction Liah was looking and she took note of the trio. Good prospects for later. She didn't expect or want this to be anything more than a one night stand. Liah was too dangerous to be sleeping with regularly.
She turned, preceding Liah out to let the other woman get a good look at her. She paused at the doorway and looked over her shoulder. "Coming?"
She shrugged. She headed towards the door, but on her way there she had to pass their table. She 'accidentally' bumped into the strangely exotic looking man with the silver ornamentation. She sent him a dazzling smile. "Sorry." she apologized in a heavy southern accent. Her eyes were a Brown with heavy blue and green flecks. Actually they were more blue/green flecks then brown, and a dark brown outlining the iris.

Aubri frowned. Her prospect was not supposed to be paying more attention to others. The considered leaving to find someone else, but gave it up as an unsure one when she needed surety.
"I won't wait for you all night," she said in a girlish voice.

She shrugged. She headed towards the door, but on her way there she had to pass their table.

She 'accidently' bumped into the strangly exotic looking man with the silver ornamentation. She sent him a dazzling smile.

"Sorry." she appologized in a heavy southern accent. Her eyes were a Brown with heavy blue and green flecks.

Actulualy they were more blue/green flecks then brown, and a dark brown outlining the iris.

Astor smiled, bowing slightly before turning back to his converstaion with the golden clad woman, giggling at one of her coments.

Aubri frowned. Her prospect was not supposed to be paying more attention to others. The considered leaving to find someone else, but gave it up as an unsure one when she needed surety.

"I won't wait for you all night," she said in a girlish voice.

She shrugged. So maybe it was her. "I'm coming. She headed out the door. She gave Aubrianna a warm smile, sensing her vulnerability. Her eyes were a warm brown. "Lets go. You'll be the first woman I ever had sex with, by the way. So this should be interesting," she added thoughtfully.

Aubri threaded her arm through Liah's, smiling at the woman broadly, relief hidden in her eyes. "Don't worry," she said softly. "I'll take good care of you."

Liah patted her hand absently. "I have no fear of that. Us woman gotta stick together. I try to lend my assistance when I can and this should successfully broaden my horizons." She replied mildy.

Aubri kept her smile, although only barely. She felt the other woman's preoccupation. Perhaps it wasn't too late...? No, she needed it quickly. She gestured widely. "Lead the way and I will show you what I know."

Liah's concentration sharpened. She walked ouside down the side walk. "What's wrong?" She asked with deceptive softness.

Aubri blew out a breath softly to keep from tensing. Very consciously, she left her arm in that of the other woman, knowing that removing it and denying the claim would just prove it true.

"You seem so distant. Do you have someone better to do? I can go meet someone else," she said.

"No." She absently pushed a small tendril of hair out of her eyes and behind her ear. "It just seems that your... anxious. Why?"

Aubri forced herself to laugh lightly. She wasn't desperate enough yet to give up that part of herself.

"I don't like to think that I'm second in your thoughts right now," she said softly, looking up at the woman with her eyes wide and innocent looking.

She raised an eyebrow and felt slightly amused. She didn't buy the innocent act, but did beleieve the begining of her statement. "Very well. You have my full attention. But lets be truthfull as well." She said and left it at tha

"I'll get us a room." She came out a few minutes later with a key. "We're room forty-two. Isn't that funny." She said, chuckling in amusement.

Aubri smiled. "Well read and gorgeous. I chose well," she said, eyes smoldering. "Shall we go begin what we came here for?"

Liah cocked her head in amusement at the choice of words. She originaly came to this place to do a contract killing. "Very well." She gave her a mysterious smile and then headed towards the room. No need to frighten Aubrianna any further. She wasn't a threat so far and had nothing to fear unless she became so. She stated she wasn't... so that was that.

Aubri started to follow when a wave from the other woman crashed over her, filling her with visions of blood and bodies with Liah at the center of it. Aubri stumbled back a step, breath quickening in panic.

Liah blinked in surprise when Aubrey stumbled. She turned towars her. "All you all..." she faltered noticing Aubri's panic. "What's wron?" She asked solemly. It was as if she somehow looked into Liah's soul and saw a monster.

She cocked her head. "Is something wrong?" She wondered what she did this time.

Aubri looked at the other woman without seeing her for a moment and cringed back. Slowly she came out of the vision. She looked at Liah and launched herself at ther other woman. She pressed her to a wall, kissing her desperately.

"No. Just fuck me. Quickly."

She was openly surprised when Aubrey launched herself at her. She was almost about to defend heself when she was pressed against the wall, but froze when she was kissed desperately.

She heard her speak, but distantly. She kissed Aubrey back and glomped onto her. She kissed very well. Not many could pull off French kissing, but Aubri had it down to an art. She let the duel of tongues continue.

Aubri tugged at Liah's clothes, pushing her way into the room and kicking the door closed without bothering to lock it. She had meant to go slowly for the inexperienced woman, but it was too late for that.

As if it were a floodgate, the vision had opened to a stream of others, each coming on top of the previous until she couldn't tell where one stopped and the next began, or tell where in all of it she was.

She had thought she had another few days.... She sobbed against Liah's skin, caressing it almost roughly.

Liah groaned in pleasure, getting into the spirit of things. She decided to help Aubrey with her own clothes. She yanked off her shirt and started tugging at the other womans bra. She wanted to have their skin touch to feel the contrast of their skin texture. She kissed the other woman deeply. She then glomped onto her wrapping her legs around the Aubreys waist. They both fell onto the bed with Liah still straddling her. She stroked the other woman's skin firmly, pressing her body against the other.

The man in the next room wasn't with his wife. The woman was tired and only wanted the opportunity her promised, but he didn't want to go through with it. Aubri felt a touch pulling her back to her skin.

She felt Liah and air on top of her and arched herself up to meet the other woman's body, clinging to her desperately. The clumsiness Liah had meant nothing to Aubri.

She kissed her way down the woman's neck to her chest where she sucked deeply, trying to focus her mind on the action. Instead it slipped to the other next door room where a mother was nursing her child.

Aubri abandoned her action, collapsing into a haze of visions, unable to find her way out again.

Lia was surprised to find Aubri's attention wandering. She hissed in annoyance, and paused thoughtfully. She had an idea and hoped it worked. Liah worked her hand between Aubreys legs. the skirt was no hindrence and she deftly bipassed her underwear. She gently stroked the woman hoping this would bring a pleasant sensation that would bring back her attention.

The baby didn't understand why her mother insisted on feeding when she wasn't hungry and only made a halfhearted attempt at sucking the teat. The mother didn't understand why her baby wouldn't eat.

Her husband was too busy watching football to care. Farther away, there was more sex, and a couple fighting bitterly. She hadn't cheated on him.

Even more distantly, there was a sensation trying to draw Aubri's consciousness away from the world she was in.

The baby-- she would find a cure for cancer if she didn't die in a car accident in 5 years. The couple-- they would make up, but he would cheat on her as he accused now.... 'Stop....' she begged. 'Stop....'

She reached to the sensation, but couldn't reach it.

Damek paused in the hotel lobby. The vibrations had stopped... but not in a good way. He sat down in a large chair and closed his eyes, tapping into the Earth and reaching out to the person who's vibrations had nearly called him. He projected strong soothing vibrations, strength and warmth, with the undertone of a call, beconing the young woman to find him.

A stronger conscious pulled at Aubri. She reached for it, feeling its strength. Before she could reach it, she was pulled back to her body, the build-up from Liah's touch becoming enough to draw her.

Raising hands as heavy as lead, she returned the touch, leaning up to capture the woman's lips before bypassing them to play with her tongue.

Liah gasped in surprise, and kissed back. Her hand jerked and it accidently slipped into the other woman. Liah froze in surprise, eyes widening. Bloody Hell! She didn't mean to do that.

Aubri moaned softly, pushing against Liah. This... what she needed. The baby was finally done feeding, and the earthquake the next day would barely rattle pots. It was all clearing away.

The clarity made her moan again, finding completion. She just had to finish what she started. The returning clarity gave her the energy to make her touch surer as she pleasured Liah.

Liah groaned. Okay, so she didn't do a 'bad' and kept her finger where it was gently wigling for added pleasure. With her other hand firmly rubbed Aubrey's breast, flicking her thumbnail over the nipple. Liah gave her a deep kiss.

Aubri gently disengaged, reversing their positions and increased her touch, running her nails down Liah's sides. She lowered her mouth to the woman's breasts, sucking at one nipple.

Liah gasped in pleasure. She toed her boots off distractedly and wrapped her legs around Aubrey, arching her back. Shit! Her damned pants were still on! She made another hissing sound of annoyance.

She couldn't get her hands there because that would interfere in Aubrey's working, and that was just out of the question.

Aubri felt the other woman's satisfaction as if it were her own. Her heart dropped. This wasn't helping as much as it should. Dimly beyond that, she could still feel the baby's cofusion.

Scowling, she stepped her pace up, until she felt Liah come.

Liah fealt the world explode. Her eyes widened as the world spun.

Aubri gasped for breath, pulling back. She was a bit sore, but that was to be expected. She wasn't entirely inside herself, and that wasn't. She felt the strength still near her. She wanted to go to it.

But Liah still needed attention. Uncurling, she snuggled next to the woman. "How are you?" she asked, hearing her own voice as if from a distance.

"Not too bad." She looked at Aubri intently. "What's wrong?" she asked huskily. "Something went wrong. You weren't here for a while."

Aubri smiled absently. "I'm fine. That was fun. Not what I expected when I picked you up."

Liah hesitated. "Are you..." she paused, "Settled?" she finished, quriously.

Aubri patted Liah's thigh absently. "I'm not your concern anmore now than I was earlier. We just had sex, not a commitment." She rose and smoothed her clothes. "I have to go."

Head tilted to one side, she looked at the door curiously a moment before opening it.

Liah blinked, then shrugged. She got up, picking her stuff up on her way to the bathroom. "Okay. Have a good night." She replied pleasantly.

She went into the bathroom and cleaned off, taking care of business and what not. When she came back out, she wasn't surprised to see herself alone in the room. She flopped onto the bed, staring at the ceiling. that was cetainly an interesting experience. She didn't think she would be spueemish in flirting with woman in the future if it was necessary. She drifted off into a light doze, still alert to her surroundings.
